  Mrs. Michael Weins, 67, Hilbert, died Sunday at Calumet Memorial Hospital. She had been ill about four weeks. The former Rose Knier, she was born in the town of Rantoul, Feb. 15, 1894, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Knier. She was married at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hilbert, on Nov. 8, 1916 to Michael Weins. Mrs. Weins was a member of St. Mary's Parish, the Christian Mothers Society and the American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Otis (Mary Lou) Wendt, Darlington, Mrs. Louis (Bernice) Skell, Denver, Colo., Mrs. John (Eleanor) Meunster, Appleton, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Strizic, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Robert (Jacquelina) Lemberger, Brillion; two sons, Ralph, Pico Rivera, Calif., and Jerome, R. 2, Hilbert; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Endries, Stockbridge, and Mrs. Anna Arends, Colby; a brother, John Knier, Los Angeles, and 26 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hilbert, with Msgr. Martin Jaekels, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery. Rose Weins Sheboygan Press September 18, 1961
