  Jon S Minkebige, born Feb. 14, 1956, son of the late Karl H and Mary K (Bayer) Minkebige, passed away peacefully on Aug. 11, 2017 at the age of 61, after living with rheumatoid arthritis for over a decade. Anyone that knew Jon could see his struggles, but you would never hear about it from him. He stayed independent to his last few days, taking care of his two best friends, his dogs, King and CATO. Jon was a lifelong resident of Kaukauna like his dad. He inherited his dad's artistic talents and loved to paint; especially skulls wearing Packer helmets. He had a passion for cars and was the proud owner of a '57 Chevy that he turned into a beautiful classic. Jon will be sorely missed by his two sons, Max and Nick Minkebige, brother Dan (Paula) Minkebige, sister Kay (Dave) Lerche, and two grandsons Lincoln and Jude. Jon has two aunts, Vivian Bayer and Betty (Bayer) Ebben and many cousins. Jon will be quietly laid to rest by his family at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna.
