  Stephensville - Alvin "Tex" Griesbach, age 85, entered into eternal life on March 4, 2018. He was born July 28, 1932 to the late Edward and Viola (Beschta) Griesbach. In 1961, he was married to Charlotte Becker; they shared fifty-seven years of beloved marriage. The couple resided in Stephensville, Wisconsin for fifty-seven years, often traveling to their cabin in Minocqua. He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, fishing and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #139 for thirty years, as well as a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Stephensville. Alvin is survived by his wife, Charlotte; daughters, Peggy (Chad) Block, Shawano; Sherrie (Tony) Verhagen, Hortonville; grandchildren: Holly (Jack) Calandros; Thomas Hofacker Jr.; Cody (Sienna) Verhagen; Kaylee Verhagen; great-grandchildren, Chloe; Jaxon; Madison; Lincoln; Leonardo; Camden; two brothers, Edward Jr. (Barbara); Lenny; three sisters, Martha (Robert) Lehrer; Marion (Bill) Howard; Lou (Richard) Gordee and sister-in-law, Donna Griesbach. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sons, Thomas and Robert and a brother Pat Griesbach. Funeral Mass for Alvin will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Stephensville with Fr. Richard Allen and Deacon Ken Bilgrien co-officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
