  Sherman Oaks, CA - Jacqueline Kay Fowler (48) of Sherman Oaks, California died Wednesday July 4th, 2018 after a brave battle with triple negative breast cancer. She was born April 16th, 1970 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Kathleen Abraham (Keliher) and Judson Fowler. Jackie graduated from Xavier High School in 1988 and went on to receive her bachelor's and master's degrees in creative writing from Chapman University in Orange County, California. Throughout her life, Jackie's love for animals was paramount. As a long time vegetarian, she and her wife, Tammy Billik, delighted in discovering great vegetarian restaurants around the world. She sheltered and adopted many feline friends and has given her son Eli Billik the gift of that same love of animals. In addition to her wife and son, Jackie is survived by her brother and sister in law Jason and Jody Fowler, Niece and nephew Regan and Reggie, nephew Ben, mother and stepfather Kelly and Dave Abraham and father and stepmother Jud and Mary Beth Fowler. Jackie will be remembered as a fiercely loyal friend, a compassionate listener with an infectious laugh and as someone with a giant heart. No services are planned, but the family requests donations to honor Jackie's memory to her beloved charity - Heaven On Earth cat shelter - where we will dedicate "Jackie's Room" that will house cats in need of adoption and care.
