  Benedict V. Weyenberg, "Jug", 119 N. Wilson St., Kimberly, age 69, died Fr iday, May 11, 1990, at his home following a brief illness with Lou Gehrig 's disease. He was born September 2, 1920 in Kimberly, the son of the la te Peter and Helen (Van Ert) Weyenberg. He served with the U.S.Air Force d uring World War II. Jus was employed as an electrician at Kimberly-Clark C orp. for 40 years and retired from Midtec in 1979. He really enjoyed t he outdoors. He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, the Quarter Cen tury Club, Wm.Verhagen Pst #60 of the American Legion, the Golden Agers a nd the KRA. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elayne (Busch) Weyenbe rg, two sons and a daughter in-law, Tim and Maryanne Weyenberg, Green Ba y, Dan Weyenberg, Minneapolis, Minnesota, four daughters and three sons in -law; Sandra and Jeffrey Stier, Madison, Mary and Ken Fries, Neenah, Jan a nd Paul Engebretsen, Minneapolis, Mn., Jean Weyenberg, Menasha, nine grand children, four brothers and five sisters in-law; John and Bertha Weyenber g, Appleton, Sylvester Weyenberg, Kimberly, Royal and Anna Weyenberg, Kimb erly, Harold and Roseanne Weyenberg, Hilbert, Edith Weyenberg, Africa, t wo sisters and a brother in-law; Agnes DuPont, Kimberly, Dorothy and Fr ed Fox, Kimberly. He was preceded in death by a brother Louis. The funer al services will be at 9:45 am Monday, May 14, 1990 at Holy Name Cathol ic Cemetery, Kimberly. Friends may call at the Jansen-Fargo Funeral Ho me in Kiberly from 4 to 9 pm Sunday and after 8:30 am.on Monday until t he cortege leaves for the church. The Golden Agers will meet at 6:45 pm Su nday, American Legion at 7 pm Sunday and the parish prayer service wi ll be at 8 pm Sunday evening.A memorial fund has been established in his name. A complete military serv ice will follow church services.
