Lauren was the half first cousin of Kate's father. Their common ancestor is Johannes Heesakkers (1750-1831)from Beek en Donk, Noord Brabant. Johannes and his first wife, Johanna Maria van Stiphout, are the parents of Mattijs J. Heesakkers, and Mattijs is the father of Martin Cora and the other 9 Heesakkers who came to the Fox Valley ca. 1849. Martin was Kate's father. Johannes' second wife was Helena Verhoeven, and one of their three children was Gerardus Heesakkers, who is the father of Laurens.I don't have anything on Elizabeth Fink and Wm.
