  Otto Joas, 78, formerly of 525 E. Main St. Campbellsport, died Sunday at Grandcare Nursing Center. He was born Oct. 9, 1896, in the Town of Stockbridge, the son of Joseph and Anna Holzer Joas. He married Lucy Agnes Ott on Sept. 28, 1920 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chilton, and she died Sept. 3, 1952. Mr. Joas farmed in the Town of Chilton until 1938 and in the town of Ashford until retirement in 1952. He was a member of St Matthew's Catholic Church, Campbellsport, Holy Name Society and Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors include a son, Donald of Fond du Lac; two daughters, Mrs. Leo Janous of Campbellsport and Mrs. Andrew Steindorf of Brownsville, 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Other survivors are three brothers, Edward of Menasha, Arthur of Kiel and Leo of Milwaukee; and four sisters, Mrs. Henry Koehler of Kaukauna, Mrs. Herman Eichmeier of Chilton, Mrs. Frank Baesler of Sherwood and Mrs. Gilbert Selbecker of Mauson. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, and at St. Matthew's Church, Campbellsport. The Rev. Victor Kemmer will officiate.
