  Herman C. Schutten Age 99, of Wilmington, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2000 in Joliet. Born January 2nd, 1901 in Wilmington. Husband of the late Helen A. (Barbieur) Schutten (1995). Parents are deceased, Herman Sr., & Nellie (Klover) Schutten. Also preceded in death by one great granddaughter, Katie, and 13 brothers and sisters. Father of Jean (Ray) Stachura of Arlington Heights, Illinois; Jack (Marguerite) Schutten of Dixon, Illinois; grandfather of four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. He was a retired employee of Electricians Union Local #134, Chicago, from 1922 to 1966, original member of the Wilmington Swinger's Band. Funeral Services at 9:30 AM on Saturday, September 16, 2000 from the Freitag Funeral Home, Wilmington to St. Rose Catholic Church for a 10AM Funeral Mass. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wilmington. Visitation on Friday, September 15, 2000 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials in Herman's name to Kuzma Care Cottage would be appreciated.
