  Stadler, Gerald J.Gerald J. Stadler, age 82, of Hudson died July 19, 2004, after a short ill ness while surrounded by his family. Gerry was born February 11, 192 2, in Appleton, WI, to the late Joseph and Ceil (Hilger) Stadler. He gr ew up with seven siblings and lived most of his working life in Little Chu te, WI. He worked on the Calendar Stack at Combined Locks Mill for 25 yea rs and took a rowboat from his house in Little Chute to and from the plan t. He moved to Hudson in 1972 with his wife and five of his eleven childre n. He was chosen to make this move to help start up Hudson Products, Inc ., a paper coating business in North Hudson.Surviving are his wife, Rose (Wittlin); children: Bob (Barb) Stadler, Clin tonville; Betty (Dave) Dunsmore, Menasha; Joe (Sandy) Stadler, Little Chut e; Jim (Sharon) Stadler, Shawano; Diane (Denny) Stadler, De Pere; Shirl ey Stadler, Seymour; Karen Stadler; Linda Stadler; Wayne Stadler; Bruce St adler; Brian (Wendy) Stadler all of Hudson; 30 grandchildren and 36 gre at grandchildren; brothers: Eugene (Carol) Stadler and Cyril (Doris) Stadl er; sisters, Donna (Jerry) Reynebeau and Marilyn (Jim) Ebben, all of the A ppleton area.Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. on Thursday July 22, 2004 at S t. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hudson. Burial will follow in St. Patrick 's Catholic Church Cemetery. A visitation will take place from 5-8 p. m. on Wednesday July 21, 2004 at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home of Huds on. There will be a prayer service starting at 7:30 on Wed. evening. The v isitation will be extended on Thursday morning from 8:30-9:30 at the funer al home. The family is requesting that no flowers be sent. Memorials m ay be made to: Lakeview Hospice, 5610 Norwich Pkwy, Stillwater, MN 550 82 or St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1500 Vine St. Hudson, WI 54016.
