  Willey, Mary "Bett y"Mary "Betty" Willey, age 87, of Wrightstown, formerly of Winneconne died T hursday, April 13, 2006, at a Green Bay nursing home. Betty was born May 1 9, 1918, in Wrightstown to the late Frank and Helen (Kettenhofen) Vanderhe iden. Betty married Jack Willey in Omaha, Nebraska, in December of 194 2; he preceded her in death in October of 1972. Betty was a teacher at S t. John's Catholic School in Little Chute. She was a good cook and enjoy ed playing cards.Survivors include her brother, Vincent Vanderheiden of Madison; two sister s: Jean VanderHeiden of Green Bay; Lois and Melvin Bastian of Wrightstow n; sisters-in-law: Grace Willey of Kaukauna; Frances Willey of Kentucky; b rothers-in-law: Melvin "Buck" LaFond of Black Creek; Harold Merkl of Wrigh tstown; and many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.Family and friends may call at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Wrightsto wn on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be ce lebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Msgr. John H. Schuh officiatin g.Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Kaukauna.
