  Helen Richter, 90, of Rice Lake died Feb. 22 at Rice Lake Convalescent Center. A Mass of Christian burial was Thursday morning at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rice Lake with the Rev. James Powere officiating and burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Richter was born Nov. 6, 1919 to Edward and Mary (Schweiger) Stodola in Haugen. She married George Richter on April 20, 1937 in Rice Lake. She owned and operated Country Antiques for more than 31 years. She enjoyed stripping and refurbishing antiques, reading, growing flowers and herbs and collectibles. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Halverson of Burlington; three sons, George Jr. of Rice Lake, Daniel of Cambridge and Ronald of Michigan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Richter's husband, George, died in 1988. Her daughter Suzanne Scheurer also preceded her in death.
