We are originally from Luxembourg and I have been able to go back as f ar as my Great,Great Grandparents in Luxembourg. I have a lot of Wiscour 's in my files, some are still in Luxembourg,Belgium,France and one fami ly in Germany that I have been unable to contact.Then there is my family h ere in the USA, descendants of Antonie Wiscour, who emigrated to the USA a bout 1882. I have just recently received a news article that had to be tra nslated into English, concerning the origination of the name Disewiscour t/ Des Viscour/Diseviscour/Disewiscour/Wiscour.The article pretty much con firmed that the names listed originated in The Village of Sevicourt, locat ed on the road from Libramont to Bastogne. I have attached a chart that sh ows the population, by the variations of names in Luxembourg,1880,1930 a nd 1980.The chart is in the lower right hand corner.If you have trouble op ening it please let me know. This brings me to, Jean Baptiste Wiscour, Franz Wiscour and Eve Wiscou r. I have no information on them other than what you have in your file s. I assume that what you have in your files is all the information you ha ve?? I am going to add them to my files, under Wiscour's but as yet unrela ted. If you would I would appreciate you possibly sending me, in GED fo rm the information on Jean Baptiste Wiscour and his descendants. I current ly have a files for, The French Wiscour's, The Luxembourg Wiscour's a nd my Wiscour/Klement File. I have a family web site, at MyFamily.com th at I share with authorized family members.
