  Josephine Thuecks, of Appleton, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011, at Appleton Health Care Center. She was born in Boyd, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Jacob and Gertrude (Klapperich) Thuecks. Josephine was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Appleton, and the Quarter Century Club of Kimberly-Clark. She had worked at Kimberly-Clark, Badger Globe and Lakeview until her retirement. Josephine is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Joseph (Loretta), Father Anthony, Michael (Nell), Clarence and Julius (Lillian) Thuecks; her sisters: Susan (Harvey) Robertson, Catherine (John) Ryba, Rosalie (John) Proulx, Lena Thuecks, Eleanor Thuecks and Elizabeth (Louis) Weber. The funeral liturgy for Josephine will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 W. Marquette Street, Appleton. Fr. Thomas J. Farrell will be officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Boyd. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial masses are appreciated.
