Virginia R Jansen - born November 1, 1918 - died Lockport Memorial Hospital on November 25, 1987 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of John J Mosure and Pearl A McParlin You had her maiden name as Mouser instead of Mosure - perhaps it was a typo since you have all the right letters in the wrong order. Sincerely - Mary K Mosure Amodeo Jay - Sorry for the delay in answering your questions. I am related to Virginia through the Mosure side of the family. Her father John J Mosure and my father were brothers. The Lockport Memorial Hospital is located at 521 East Ave., Lockport New York which is in Niagara County. The only information that I have on Virginia is from a short obituary notice from the Lockport Union Sun and Jopurnal newspaper that my mother had saved. The funeral arrangements were at the convenience of the family and it does not give burial information. Her mother is listed as Alice P Mosure but we knew her as Pearl and the 1930 Federal Census lists her as Pearl A. So I think she may have used her middle name for a while and then switched to Alice P. In 1930 they were living at 300 Walnut St., in Lockport,NY and the head of the household was Peter H McPerlin. Virginia had two brothers John and William and one sister Rosemary Mosure Oakes. I do not have any pictures.
