I have ben doing research on my gggreatgran dmother Olive Andrus who was married to Edward Unmuth. In going thru so me old info on Rootsweb I came across some info that someone se nt to me a while ago about where these two were married. I had forgotten a bout the rootsweb info as I have been doing other family members histo ry & to make a long story short found my way to your world tree entr y. Do you have a record of their being married in ST. Paul MN? I also ha ve info on Olive if you are interested in filling in some background on th em. She married Ed, they had 3 children, & left him in 1912 before he di ed & married a Eugene Rock in 1913. She was not divorced from her 1st husb and, Sanford Andrus with whom she had 4 children, until 1920. Anyway...I h ave been trying to find out where they were married. Did not consider S t. Paul..tho I live abt 45 miles from there. Thank you for your time & inf o. These pictures were sent to my in laws, Dav id & Amanda Hjelmgren in 1914 when they (Hjelmgrens) lived in ST. Pau l. I don't know where you live, but they have the pics if you are interest ed. Teri Hello Jay... Thought your e-mail address looked familiar ! Anyway...here is what I have. I have not been able to find ANY record of Olive & Edward Unmuth's marriage, in MI, WI or MN. Knowing Olive's background, it would not surprise me if they really weren't married. In 1891 Olive is in the Superior WI directory listed as a widow of Sanford, which she wasn't as he was still alive & they were not divorced yet. Ed was born in August 1861 in Dale WI. They had 3 children that I know of. Son Louis b. Jan 1892 in MI d. bef 1918. Daughter Stella b. Nov 1893 in WI (married Bert Walker lived in Detroit). Daughter Bertha b. June 1899 in MI (married Carl Erickson lived in Ishpeming MI). Some of this info I found & some was sent to me. As far as I know it is correct. Hope this helps you some.
