Things have been fairly smooth, as we all are pretty familiar with t he island. There have been some transitional pains but again, we were ju st here three years ago so that makes it some what better. Up until yesterday, dial-up modem was our only means of connectivi ty back to the world but that service has been upgraded to include a new e mail address. Hopefully this new company won't faultier and our email wi ll remain the same until we rotate back to the world (U.S.). The four girls are doing well....Stevie working hard with one day o ff per week but loving it on her paydays. Kim is babysitting and she 's so busy, one would think she was the only one on the island...yea, she 's loving going to the bank too. That's good for the both of them as th ey slowly move toward leaving our little nest. MaShawn is recovering we ll from her knee injury but is still careless sometimes.....she'll be ok t hough as she's really excited about becoming a High School Student next ye ar. Nikita is....well Nikita. Besides singing and sleeping, she being t he youngest and still trying to develop her own personality, she's just go ing with the flow and enjoying life with three older Sisters....she thin ks she can get away with murder and they'll protect her but I didn't say t hat....or did I? Marypat is doing well too.....reconstituting a home again with all t he kids home for the summer really makes it seem less exciting. She is ex cited though and there are so many things she wants to get done....but w ho has enough time in a day to be a Marine's Wife, Mother of four and Mary pat....heck, being Marypat alone keeps her busy. Seriously though, s he is doing well and is still as busy as a four year old. I'm doing good as I adjust to a new job. Still working with Marin es but I have the added luxury of Japanese employees...yea right, it's f ar from luxurious but it is interesting. My eye injury from Iraq has resu rfaced but Marypat took really good care of me during the brunt of the sto rm then said, "Now...get back to work". Just kidding, she'd keep me he re if we could do that but I had to get back to the grind. The back inju ry is getting better as well. Marypat tries to make me feel better by say ing "Honey, they are war injuries, don't worry". I say, I'm just getti ng old ;-)!!!!! So there, didn't mean to bore you all but wanted to let the people th at are important to us know that God is still blessing us and we want to r ejoice and witness over those blessings. LDO Captain Michael Averell Graham, age 47, of Hortonville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 27, 2015. Michael was born on May 25, 1967 to George and Mary (Bell) Graham. He attended Bay Springs High School in Mississippi. On December 24, 1999 he was united in marriage to Mary Pat Rausch. Captain Graham enjoyed cooking, grilling, and making his own recipes. He enjoyed many types of music and could be found either: dancing, singing, or playing the drums. He always had dreams of becoming a college football star, until he suffered a neck injury in High School. Captain Graham always had a knack for helping someone in need; even if it seemed impossible, he always tried to make someone's day better. Most of all, Michael enjoyed spending precious time with his grandkids. He was an immensely proud member of the United States Marine Corps were he had served his country for over 24 years. Captain Graham is survived by both of his parents, George and Mary; his wife of 15 years, Mary Pat; his children Stevie Marsh, Jasmine Hutt-Vansant, Kimberly Marsh, Mashawn Graham, and Nikita (Graham) Cantable; his brother George Dexter Graham and his sister Niqua Graham-Brooks. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, 1592 Oneida Street, Menasha. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com
