  Wendland, Norbert W.Norbert W. Wendland, age 88 of Wellington Place, Wisconsin Rapids, former ly of Kaukauna died Sunday, January 23, 2005 at Wellington Place. Norbe rt was born December 26, 1916 in Kaukauna, Wisconsin to Otto and Anna (Klo ehn) Wendland. He married Bernadine McGuire in Darlington, Wisconsin. S he preceded him in death on April 1, 1980. Norbert farmed in the Kaukau na area for many years and also was employed at White Clover Dairy Chee se for 20 years. Norbert loved farming and horse auctions. He was a 50 ye ar member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #1033 of Kaukauna, Wisconsin .Survivors include son, Thomas (Judy) Wendland, Wisconsin Rapids; daughte r, Gail (James) Bienemann, Union Grove, Wisconsin; grandchildren: Abbe (Ja y) Bredl, Wisconsin Rapids; Dr. Mary Elizabeth (husband, Dr. Stephen Gowe y) Bienemann, Racine, WI; sister, Rosemary Schmidz, Kaukauna; many niec es and nephews.Norbert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister, Marie Arnoldus sen, brothers: Elmer Wendland and Reinhard Wendland.Funeral services will be 12 noon Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Chur ch in Kaukauna. Rev. Matthew Settle and Rev. Paul Paider will officiate. B urial in Holy Cross Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at Holy Cross Cathol ic Church, Kaukauna on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Ritchay Funer al Home in Wisconsin Rapids is handling all arrangements. Memorials m ay be designed to Holy Cross Church or Ministry Home Care in Marshfield, W I."A special thank you to the loving and caring staff at Wellington Place a nd Norbert's special care taking angel, Betty Jones.
