  Tuchscherer (Tennessen), Ma ry Josephine "I drained every quality minute I could from my body and it was a wonderful, beautiful, incredible life filled with love, learning, adventure and so me mighty challenges." Mary once thought that perhaps God had forgotten he r, but after 94 lively years, He remembered her on May 1, 2004.She was born on March 18, 1910, in Hollandtown to the late Henry and Chris tina (VerVurt) Tennessen. After the loss of both parents she was rais ed in the home of Anton and Elizabeth (Peters) Gerritts.On a bright day, June 24, 1931, she was wed to Edward P. Tuchscherer and w as blessed with two children: Robert L. and Rita C. Tuchscherer.Mary was very proud of her work as a homemaker, as well as a cook at the M enasha Hotel and St. Mary's Menasha Rectory until the age of 75 where s he was also a member.Mary was preceded in this life by her parents, step-parents, husband Edwa rd and daughter Rita. She is lovingly remembered by her Son Robert and dau ghter-in-law Barbara Tuchscherer, Menasha, WI and son-in-law George Looman s, Hilton Head, SC; two sisters-in-law: Mary Tuchscherer, Kaukauna and Mar garet Tuchscherer, Menasha; nine grandchildren: Mary M. Tuchscherer, Dress er, WI, John E. Tuchscherer, Hudson, WI, (fiancee Diane), Ellen A. Tuchsch erer-Heinz (Joel), Appleton, WI, Thomas R. Tuchscherer (Roxanne), Fremon t, WI, Mary Beth Henze, Centennial, CO, George Loomans, Jr. (Mary Jo), Muk wanago, WI, Katie Gerszewski (Gary), Arlington, VA, Jodie Loomans (Amy), W auwatosa, WI and Peter Loomans, Waukesha, WI; and fourteen great-grandchil dren: Sara Schumann (Brad), Steven Heinz (fiancee Jessica), Sean Heinz, An drew Tuchscherer, Kristen Tuchscherer, Jeff Feistel, Joe Feistel, Antho ny Tuchscherer, Savannah Burow, Jason Diem, Brittany Henze, Megan Henze, A lex Henze and Nicholas Loomans.Funeral Services for Mary J. Tuchscherer will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wed nesday, May 5, 2004, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 528 2nd Street, Menas ha with Father Paul Radetski officiating. Relatives and Friends will be we lcomed at the Church beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial s ervice. Interment will be held at a private service at St. Mary's Parish C emetery at a later date.The family would like to personally thank everyone whose enormous kindne ss and numbers cannot be listed here.
