  Gary James Pleshek "Mombo", born Nov. 6th, 1954, found peace from his earthly struggles at home on Friday, August 25, 2017. Gary was a Kaukauna H.S. graduate - Class of 1973 and served in the US Marines from June 1973 to June 1976. He worked construction most of his life and was a resident of Kaukauna before recently moving to Weyawega. In his younger years Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing and family get togethers. He was always happy to lend a helping hand. Gary also enjoyed collecting and refurbishing antiques. Gary is survived by two daughters, Jamie Bryda, DePere and Ani Pleshek (special friend, Joshua Beu), Arizona, three grandchildren, Brock, Kylee and Ryker, brothers, Dan (Jean), Wane (Teena) and David (Karen), sisters, Linda (John) Rohm, Judy (Bob) Zitzelsberger, Sandy (Dan) Hoelzel, Mary Pleshek, and Nancy Wenzel. He is further survived by aunts, Joan Schultz (his Godmother) and June School, two godchildren Barbie De Cleene and Skylea Pleshek. Gary was preceded in death by parents Roy and Pearl Pleshek, brothers Dale and Tim, a brother-in-law Todd Wenzel, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 7 PM Tuesday August 29, 2017 at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna with Deacon Steve Van De Hey of St. Katharine Drexel Parishes in Kaukauna, presiding. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 PM Tuesday until the time of service. Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna, is assisting the family.
