  Julius Pritzl, age 91, was called home to Jesus on December 2, 2009, at Brewster Village with his loving children at his side. He was born on March 6, 1918, in Greenville, son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Gresl) Pritzl. On September 24, 1940, he was united in marriage to Isabelle (Driessen) Pritzl, who preceded him in death on March 21, 2006. Julius was a plasterer and mason by trade and ran his own business for more than 30 years. After retirement, Julius and Isabelle spent many hours volunteering at the Thrift Store and attending services at Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in Appleton. Time spent with family and friends was always important to him. He loved playing piano, feeding his birds, trout fishing, deer hunting and enjoying time with his family at their cottage near Mountain. Dad was a loving caregiver to Mom during the many years of her illness. He is survived by his six children: Gerald (Myra) Pritzl, Darlene (Tom) Ales, Joyce (Tom) Swoboda, Susan Morrison, Allan (friend, Judy Kraft), Nancy (Norbert) Dargelies; seventeen grandchildren: Brian (Mary Beth) Pritzl, Mark (Lori) Pritzl, Amy Pritzl, Aaron (fiancee Michelle Guenette) Pritzl, Tracey (Tim) Rymer, Tammy Howe, Thomas Ales III, Darrin (Pems) Tebon, Barry (Elyse) Tebon, Lisa (Joe) Beauclaire, Angie (Chad) Oler, Corrie Budrick, Beth Pritzl, Michael Pritzl, Paula Dargelies, Monica (fiance Nate Mitchell) Dargelies, and Eric Dargelies; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He is further survived by his brothers: George (Joan) Pritzl, Victor (Donna) Pritzl and Harold (Dolly) Pritzl and sisters: Sr. Lucille Pritzl, OSF, Eldora Jimenz, Marie (Ron) Jezerc, Laverne (Don) Monyette, and sisters-in-law: Rita Pritzl, Ruth Locy, Theresa Driessen and Carol Skinkis. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jason Uecker; brothers and sisters and their spouses: Ray and Ardina Pritzl, Robert and Bernice Pritzl, Richard Pritzl and Bernice and Merle Meier; brothers-in-law and their spouses: James and Ramona Driessen, Eugene and Dolores Driessen, Leo and Marlene Driessen, David Locy, Richard Driessen and Chet Skinkis. A Memorial Mass will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont St., with the Rev. Robert Karuhn presiding. A gathering of family and friends will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of Mass in the Sacred Heart Room. Inurnment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brewster Village and to St. Joseph's Food Pantry. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the very dedicated and loving staff at Brewster Village. We are so grateful to the wonderful caregivers on The Manor - you lovingly cared for Dad with smiles, gentleness and a sense of humor, making his last year enjoyable and comfortable.
