  Ruggles, Richard P.- Richard, age 80, of Appleton, passed away Monday, September 1, 2008, at Appleton Medical Center. He was born July 8, 1928, in Kaukauna, son of the late Glen and Ethel Ruggles. He married Jean Reimer September 13, 1952, sharing 52 years together before her death November 30, 2004. He was employed by Wisconsin Telephone Company and also Goodwill Industries for several years. In his early years Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing. Richard served in the Navy and was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Richard is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: David and Barbara Ruggles of Larsen; two grandchildren: Kristi (Matthew) Strenn and Kelly (Mike) Guckenberger; three great grandchildren: Amara, Adler and Arden Strenn; special friends: Tim and Jean Pontow. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 11 a.m., Thursday, September 4, 2008, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 233l E. Lourdes Drive, Appleton, with Rev. Donald Zuleger officiating.
