  Lawrence Thiel Rt. 2, Hilbert Age 70, passed away Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born December 4, 1903 in the Town of Woodville and was the son of the late Michael and Mary Lauer Thiel. On June 30, 1930 he married Rose Marx at St. John and farmed in the Town of Woodville his entire life. He retired and moved to St. John in 1967. He was a supervisor for the Town of Woodville, and a Building Committe member for St. John The Baptist Catholic School. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, and the Holy Name Society. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Lois) Geiser, Chilton, and Mrs. Gary (Lucena) Janke,Brillion; five sons. Lawrence Jr., Kaukauna, Le Roy, Appleton, Leonard, Appleton, Lloyd, Hilbert, and Lesier, Kaukauna; 15 grandchildren. A daughter, four sisters, and seven brothers preceded him in death Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m Wednesday at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion and at 10-30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. St John, with Father Kenneth Frozena officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home at Brillion from 4 p m , Tuesday until the hour of the service on Wednesday.
