  Anton (Tony) Denzel, 76, of Rt. 1 Brillion, died Tuesday morning at Chilton, following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be Thursday at Wieting Funeral Home and at St. Mary Catholic church, Brillion. The Rev. Duane Dionne will officiate with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Brillion. Mr. Denzel was born Jan. 1, 1901, in the town of Woodville son of the late Peter and Margaret Retterath Denzel. He married Mathilda Breit Sept. 15, 1924 at St. John. He farmed in rural Brillion and was also employed at Thilmanny Pulp and Paper Mill at Kaukauna, retiring in 1962. Mr. Denzel was a member of St. Mary Church. Survivors include his wife, three sons, Ronald, Vincent and Eugene, of Kaukauna; two sisters, Mrs. Matt (Kathren) Breit, of Chilton and Mrs. Albert (Serena) Daun of Rt. 2, Hilbert, 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A daughter and a brother preceded him in death. Manitowoc Herald Times Reporter.
