  The Rev. Father Joseph Seeboth, pastor, officiated at a funeral mass for Albert T. Etten, 78, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville, at 9 AM Wednesday, Feb 16. Interment was in the Sacred Heart parish cemetery, and pallbearers were George Platteter, Al Brost, Rudolph Fritsche, M. J. Weix, LeRoy Engel, and Charles Grinker. Mr. Etten died Sunday morning at the Clark county hospital at Owen. He had suffered ill health for the past several years. Albert T. Etten was born in Brown County Feb 14, 1877. He came to this community after his marriage to Mary Vande Voort at Wrightstown on Nov 26, 1902. They settled on a farm in the Town of Little Black and resided there until March of 1939 when they moved to this village. Their son, Lawrence, then took over operation of the family farm and resides thee now. Mr. Etten served as clerk and treasurer of the Lawndale school district for 25 years and also was active in township and church affairs during his residence in the Town of Little Black. Mrs. Etten died in March of 1949, and he is survived by two sons, Lawrence and Alvin of Los Angles, Cal; four daughters, Mrs. Merlin (Erma) Platteter, Mrs. Leo (Flavia) Streit, and Mrs. Ed (Verona) Giess, Milwaukee; Mrs. Leo (Marie) Schober, Adrian, Mich; and 28 grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers: William and Ambrose of Appleton, and Paul of Green Bay; four sisters: Mrs. August Trittean and Mrs. Warren Sager, Appleton; and Mrs. Henry Thomas, Milwaukee, and Nellie Etten.
