The following information is a translation about the St. Klemens Church in Osburg.

History :The first mention of a Osburg church took place in the year 1212. 1741 were built a new church, whereby the tower, by the predecessor church taken over, was integrated into the church ship 1958 tore one the ramshackle church ship off and the current church beside the tower built. On 28 November 1958 the first service in the church was celebrated. 1990 were reconditioned the church and completely transformed inside. 1999 received the church tower a clock.

Church tower : The cleaned round church tower which is beside the church consists the upper projectile of 1,4 m strong brick-work of slate break stones and has a diameter of 5,7 m. 1825 was put and with a flat cone helmet locked. At the north side on 1741 the dated portal of the predecessor church is. As original function of the church tower a Kirchhofbefestigung or a view tower is assumed.

Bells : The bells of the parish church are called St. Klemens (diameter 105 cm / weight 725 kg), Maria Regina (90/510) and Sancte Huberte (80/340). They were made by the company Mabillon from Saarburg.

Altar with altarpiece : The altar with lectern and priest seat is arranged from crystalline marble, by the sculptor Oliberius. The abstract altarpiece, which developed in the context of the church new building of 1990, is a factory of the Viennese of artist Thomas Bredenfeld. The artist formulates the intention of the picture more comparable as " striving from the heavy, dark blue tones, the colour of the longing, into the area of the goettlichen light, striving the believing and doubting soul from the material tightness in the light of the mental and religious release ".

Passion pictures : At the side panels 14 on linen painted kreuzwegstationen in Nazarener manners of Octavie of Lasalle Louisenthal, 1873 date.

Organ: To 12.10.1997 inaugurated organ Wemmetsweiler consists of 17 sounding registers on 2 manuals and pedal factory distributed and was located beforehand in the Saarland municipality. The purchase and the change by master of building of organs Gerd Meyer from hay heusweiler enabled by numerous donations and internal messages the association of building of organs and other groups.

Working-day church: In the southern part of the church ship space is integrated, which serves heatingcost-saving the services at working-days.

In the church are almost life-large, baroque wood figures of the holy Klemens and Hubertus as well as baroque Maria Himmelskoenigin with Jesusknaben.
