JOSEPH G. VESELY - Jospeh G. Vesely, 78, Schofield, died Monday, May 23,2005, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was bron March 20, 1927 in Milan,son of the late Joseph and Barbara Vesely. On Aug. 19, 1950, he marriedNan Plisch at St. Anthony Catholic Church i Athens. She survives.Joseph was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps serving i Okinawa. hewas a member of the Disabled American Verterns, Graveen Chapter No. 64.Prior to his retirement, he wasemployed for 33 years as credit managerat the former Marmet Corp. joseph was an Alderman for the city ofSchofield and a current member of their planning commitee. A longtimemember of St. Therese Catholic Church. Joseph was also a member of theirCovenant Choir and served as an usher. Besides golfing,Joseph enjoyedwoodworking especially carving ducks. Besides his wife Nan Vesely,Schofield, survivors include on son, Paul (Debra) Vesely, Ringle; twogranddaughters Shelby and Madelene Vesely, at home; siblings, MaryannStahnke and Elaine (Lenard Bauer, all of Haxelhurst, Eleanor (Richard)Enres, Chippewa Falls, Robert (Lynn) Vesely, Kenosha, Jim (Peggy) VeselCharleston, S.C. and Cassie (Eugene) Denk, Athens. The funeral Mass wibe celebrated at noon Thursday, May 26, 2005, at St. Therese CatholicChurch in Rothschild. The Rev. Janusz Kowalski will preside. Entombmewill be in Plisch Mausoleumin Athens. Friends may call from 10 AM untiltime of services Thursday at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home,1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of the arrangements."
