    Germaine Van Boxtel, Little Chute, age 74, passed away at home on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, after a lengthy battle with Lewy Body Disease. She was born in Appleton, WI, on November 28, 1935, to Joseph Heimmermann, Sr. and Genevieve (Werner) Heimmermann. She attended Appleton High School, graduating in 1953. After graduation, she worked in the steno pool at Kimberly Clark. On June 30, 1955, Germaine met the love of her life, Daniel Van Boxtel, at the Cinderella Ballroom. They were married on October 3, 1956, and settled down in Little Chute, WI.
    After the birth of her first child, she became a stay-at-home mom during which time she was an active volunteer for organizations such as the Community Blood Center, Riverview Sanitorium, and St. John Nepomucene Parish and School to name a few. She was a member of the St. Elizabeth Society. Germaine was great at doing crossword puzzles and playing trivia games, especially Jeopardy. She excelled at knitting and sewing. She loved to walk, play with her grandchildren, and spend time at the cottage that she and Dan built on Perch Lake near Elcho, WI.
    Germaine is survived by her husband of nearly 54 years, Dan; seven children: Diane (Jay) Williamson, Laurie (Keith) Wyngaard, Steve (Kathy) Van Boxtel, Mary Van Boxtel, Becky (Randy) Hoffman, Julie (John) Robinson and Todd (Debby) Van Boxtel. Grandchildren include Haley and Daniel Williamson, Frank Reimer, Amy (Kyle) McMahon, Ashely (Francisco) Sauceda, Stephanie (Ross) Weyers, Rick Wyngaard, Ben (Althea), Sarah and Kate Van Boxtel, Rachel and Sam Hoffman, Emily, Madelyn, Hannah and Drew Robinson, Sophie De Bruin, Juliana, Lucy and Ava Van Boxtel. Great grandchildren include Ezra Van Boxtel, Landon McMahon and Baby Sauceda, due in September. She is further survived by brothers and sisters: Joseph (Mert) Heimmermann, Georgine Gengler, Eunice (Ves) Vanden Hogen, Carl Heimmermann, David (Ruby) Heimmermann; brothers and sisters-in-law: Leon (Clare) Van Boxtel and Marlene (Dave) Brueggeman; and special family friend, Mary Jo Derenne.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law Norbert and Hilda (Roemer) Van Boxtel; brother-in-law Lawrence Gengler; sister-in-law Lucy Heimmermann; godchildren Thomas Lee Van Boxtel and Scott Van Boxtel.
    Visitation will be held Friday August 6, 2010, beginning at 2 p.m. until time of Mass at 5 p.m. at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute). Committal St. John Cemetery.     Obituary:
    Eunice Vanden Hogen, Little Chute, age 78, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, August 31, 2015 at home. She was born on July 19, 1937 to the late Joseph and Genevieve Heimmermann. Eunice graduated from Mercy School of Nursing in 1958. On April 25, 1959 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton, she married Sylvester Vanden Hogen. Together, they raised four children. Eunice worked at Appleton Medical Center and for Dr. Dafoe during her nursing career. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church where she volunteered at funeral luncheons. Eunice loved to sew, read, go for walks with her Dachshund and especially enjoyed knitting. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
    Eunice is survived by her husband of 56 years, Sylvester; her children: Paula (Doug) Slater, Bruce Vanden Hogen, Robert (Kathy) Vanden Hogen and Mike (Jenn) Vanden Hogen; her grandchildren: Elizabeth (Troy) DeBruin, Meghan (Joshua) DeWitt, Emily Slater, Matthew and Natalee Vanden Hogen and Leah Vanden Hogen; a great grandson Chase DeWitt; brother David (Ruby) Heimmermann; brothers-in-law: Dan Van Boxtel, Clarence Vanden Hogen and Lyle DeValk; and sister-in-law Theresa Buchberger. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
    Eunice was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Georgine (Lawrence) Gengler and Germaine Van Boxtel; brothers: Joseph (Myrtle) and Carl (Lucy) Heimmermann; father and mother-in-law: Leonard and Catherine DeWitt; sisters-in-law: Wilma (Clarence) Van Hammond and Julie DeValk; and brothers-in-law: Joseph (Ruth) Vanden Hogen and Doug Buchberger.
    Visitation will be held Thursday September 3, 2015 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 3:00 p.m. until time of Mass at 5:00 p.m. The Rev. Msgr.     Carlton "Carl" Heimmermann, 73, Appleton, passed away on September 26, 2013 after a 6 year battle with Vascular Dementia. Carl was born on February 26, 1940 in Appleton WI to the late Joseph and Genevieve (Werner) Heimmermann. He was a graduate of Appleton High School Class of 1958 and attended Fox Valley Tech. On June 12, 1962 he married the former Lucy Drexler and she preceded him in death in 2005. He served his country as a member of the US Army. Carl was employed with Miller Electric for 38 years until he retired in 2000. After retirement, Carl volunteered his time at Sacred Heart Church and at St. Joseph Food Pantry.
    He will be sadly missed by his children Brian, Waukesha, Dan (Claudia), Columbus Mississippi and their daughter Lucie, Carl's only grand-daughter, brothers and sisters, Eunice (Sylvester) Vanden Hogan, David (Ruby) Heimmermann, sister-in-law Mert Heimmermann, brother-in-law Dan Van Boxtel, dear friends Deb Hulsey and Bob and Mary Ellen Eggert, , sister-in-law Corinne (Harry) Ebmeier as well as many other relatives and friends
    He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joseph Heimmermann and sisters, Germaine Van Boxtel, Georgine Gengler.
    Mass of Christian Burial for Carl with be Tuesday October 1, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont Street in Appleton at 11:00 am with Fr. Rene' Balbero officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 9:30 am until the time of the service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfuneralhomes.com.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of Grand Horizons, Appleton, Darboy Assisted Living and Southern Care Hospice for the wonderful care given to Carl.
