Obituary:
Ronald Roy Skinner, age 79, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord on Sunday, January 26, 2014. Ron was an Army veteran of 3 years and worked at Giddings & Lewis of Kaukauna for 26 years. He then worked for Wisconsin Tissue for 5 years until his retirement. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family, music, fishing, camping, and cheering for the Packers and Brewers (not the Cubs). Ron was happiest spending time with Mary at their home on the river.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary (Fischer) Skinner; his children, Steve (Gwen) Skinner, Mark (Jeanne) Skinner, Vicky Mischler (special friend, Steve Reiter) and Amy (Jim) Brandt; grandchildren, Megan (Joseph) Bolle, Rebecca (fiancé Sam Van Dinter) Skinner, Trisha (Matt) Nolan, David Skinner, Derek Mischler, Devon Mischler; great-grandchild, Charlotte Bolle; his mother-in-law, many sisters and brother-in-laws, 2 aunts, nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Henry and Verna Skinner and a brother, John Skinner.
Per Ron's wishes, private family services will be held.
