Obituary:
Hubert J. Baumann, 43, of Kellnersville, Wis. died at his home of illness incured while he was in service. Burial at St Joseph Church Cemetery. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 6179 of Cato, Wis. Born 9 July, 1919 in the town of Manitowoc Rapids, Wis. Parents were Sophie (Pritzl) and Frank Baumann. He entered the armed service April of 1941, served with Company "L" 127th Infantry and was discharged in December, 1944. He was engaged in the Asiatic Theater and the New Guinea Campaign. He married Agnes Weber, June 20, 1945 at Kellnersville. He left 2 sons, Kenneth and James and a daughter Jeanne at home. Five brothers; Joseph, of King, Wisc., Frank and George of Milwaukee, Anton of Whitelaw and Norbert of Branch, three sisters; Mrs Harry Stark of Milwaukee, Mrs Quirin Brey of Rt 1, Whitelaw and Mrs Russell Otto of Rt 1, Cato, Wisc.
