Deltgen, CarolCarol Deltgen, 67, Appleton, passed away Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, at her h ome. She was born Jan. 25, 1938, in Black Creek, Wis., the daughter of t he late Melvin and Sylvia (Holtz) Peters. Carol attended school in Black C reek, and was a graduate of Seymour High School. She married William Deltg en on Aug. 1, 1959, in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on Dec. 1 0, 2001.The Deltgens lived in Appleton for many years, and Carol was emplo yed at Photoland for 26 years, retiring in 2002. She and Bill were acti ve members of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, and Carol was also a memb er of the Appleton Ladies Elks, Lodge #337. She enjoyed auto racing, snowm obiling, and skiing.Survivors include her brother, Larry (Joanie) Peters, Black Creek; her bro ther-in-law, Jim Steward, Black Creek; and nieces and nephews, other relat ives and many friends.Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Steward, and her father a nd mother-in-law, Lester and Althea Deltgen.Funeral services for Carol will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at O UR SAVIOUR'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3009 North Meade Street, Appleton, with Rev s. Dennis Ellisen and Martin Ruge officiating. Interment will take pla ce in Appleton Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p. m.
