    Martens, Corrine M., AppletonAge 87, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at Franciscan Care Cent er. She was born in Kimberly on November 14, 1916 to the late Cornelius a nd Johannah (Van Bockel) Van Hout. On November 8, 1940 she married Edwa rd Martens Jr. Corrine was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She a nd her husband enjoyed wintering in Bradenton, Florida. In the summers th ey enjoyed visits from their children and grandchildren at their cotta ge at White Potato Lake. They also enjoyed golfing year around.She will be sadly missed by her husband: Edward Jr.; son; Thomas E. (Barba ra) Martens of Appleton; Edward (special friend Carol Baker) Martens I II of Racine; Robert Martens of Colorado; grandchildren: Suzanne (John) Ca yo, Jeffrey (Traci) Martens, Joel Martens, Carey (Vincent) Plunkett, Timot hy Martens, Christine Berken, David Berken and Bradley Berken; great grand children: Alicia Bigford, Andrew Siegel, Jarrett Cayo, Rachel Martens, Sar ah Martens, Pacey Berken, Willem Plunkett; siblings: Anthony (Verna) Van H out, Mary (John) Quinn, Martin (Shirley) Van Hout, Cornelius (Donna) Van H out, James (Carol) Van Hout; sister-in-law: Jane Van Hout; other relativ es and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by h er daughter, Jacqueline Berken; siblings: William Van Hout, Frances Egger t, Frank Van Hout, Joseph Van Hout, and Lambert Van Hout; and a sister-in- law, Dorothy Neubauer.The Funeral Mass will be Monday, January 19, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Pi ux X Catholic CHurch, 500 W. Marquette St., with Father Mark Vander Ste eg officiating. The visitation will be on Sunday at the funeral home fr om 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again on Monday at the church from 10:30 a.m. u ntil the time of Mass. There will be a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. on Sund ay at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park.Vall ey Funeral Home2211 N. Richmond St.
