Van Handel, Agnes ArleenAgnes Arleen Van Handel, 88, Green Bay, passed away on Friday March 26, 20 04, at a local nursing home. Agnes was born on July 12, 1915, in Kimberl y, the daughter of the late John H. and Nellie (Raymaker) Van Handel. S he graduated from East High School in 1933. Agnes was a member of Nativi ty of Our Lord Parish and belonged to the Forever Young Club. She worked f or the unemployment Office in Green Bay during World War II, then transfer red to California as a civilian for the Air Force at North America Rockwe ll Corp., Rocketdyne Division, Canoga Park, California, until her retireme nt.Agnes is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Jane and Ca rl Steinfeldt, Green Bay; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Mary Ja ne Van Handel, Green Bay; she is further survived by several nieces and ne phews.She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nellie Van Handel, o ne brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Ambrose and Phyllis Van Handel; one sist er and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Robert Rankin.Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday March 29, 2004, at Schau er & Schumacher Funeral Home 340 S. Monroe Avenue. Rosary Service 7 p. m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. on Tuesd ay March 30, 2004, at Nativity of Our Lord Parish 2270 S. Oneida Street. M ass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. James Hablewi tz officiating.
