    Diederich, Florence T. (Roels )Florence T. (Roels) Diederich, 86, died and went to be with God surround ed by her loving family on Sunday, April 3, 2005, ending her battle with A lzheimer's. She was born Sept. 21, 1918, in De Pere, Wis., to John and Ire ne Roels. She was married to Gabriel Diederich on May 9, 1939, at St. Jose ph Church in Oneida. Florence spent many years working the family fa rm in Mill Center in addition to raising nine children. She attended St. J ohn the Baptist Church in Howard for many years. She loved playing cards a nd going for long walks. She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and trea sured the chocolate candy from Seroogy's.Florence is survived by eight children, Harold (Mary), Howard Lake, Minn .; Therese Denissen, Green Bay; Mildred Kaminecki, Green Bay; Ralph (Deb ), Seymour; Dorothy Salm, De Pere; Lois (Terry) Vandermause, Casco; Beatri ce Grathen, Suamico; Lora (James) Lindquist, Denver, CO; 33 grandchildr en and 33 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, John J r. and Bernard (Marge) Roels; sisters, Francis Losey, Margaret (Anthony) D iederich; and many nieces and nephews.Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel on June 16, 1990; s on, Gabriel on June 28, 1959; her parents, John and Irene (Schelter) Roel s; grandson, Steven Denissen; two brothers, Donald and Norbert; three sist ers, Sister Verona (Blanche) O.S.F., Magdalene Van Kauwenberg and Marcel la (Sally) Janz; and son-in-law Peter Denissen.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p. m. Tuesday (today). A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesda y. Friends may also call at St. Jude Catholic Church from 10 to 11 a.m. We dnesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednes day at the church. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the entire sta ff of Good Shepherd Nursing Facility in Seymour, Wis. A warm heartfelt gra titude is sent to Lori Weyers and the staff on D wing for their care and c ompassion.
    A memorial fund has been established in lieu of flowers.
