    Gerald "Jerry" Huhn 86, passed away on Saturday May 17, 2014 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour. He was born in Black Creek, August 4, 1927, son of the late John and Hazel (Huse) Huhn.
    Jerry married Joyce Wickesberg on November 20, 1948, and together they raised three children. Joyce preceded Jerry in death on April 23, 2008.
    Jerry attended Seymour High School. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII, from 1945 until 1947, in the 50th Mobile Hospital Unit. Jerry worked as a salesman in the farm/agriculture business for over 45 years. He owned and operated J.J. Equipment Inc; until he retired in 1993. Jerry was a member of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, Shiocton. Jerry loved to golf, and fish. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan. His greatest enjoyment came from the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
    Jerry is survived by his three children, daughter Jerilyn Huhn, Black Creek; sons, Joel Huhn, Black Creek, and Jeffrey (Jill) Huhn, Windsor, CO; four grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan) Taylor, Jaime Huhn (fiancé Dillon), Jared Huhn, and Danielle Jo Huhn; great-grandson, Brecken Taylor; four sisters-in-law, Marie Huhn, Janice Waltman, Sandra Wickesberg, and Marnna Wickesberg; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Jerry was further preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Barnes, and Beryle Van Bakel; two brothers, Gordon Huhn, and Maurice Huhn; sister-in-law, Shirley Wickesberg; and four brothers-in-law, Robert Waltman, Gerald Wickesberg, Van Van Bakel, and Donald Wickesberg.
    In keeping with Jerry's wishes, a graveside service for immediate family will be held at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton, with Rev. Bradley Ragner of Messiah Ev. Lutheran Church, Shiocton officiating.
    Jerry's family would like to thank the staff at Bridgewood Nursing and Rehab, Neenah; and Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour, for all of their care and compassion. "We will never forget your care and kindness"
