She married Bob Langlois in Appleton on April 10, 194 3. He died December 8, 1995.She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Memberships includ ed: Illinois Children’s Home and Aid Society, PADS, Meals on Wheels, Prove na St. Joseph Auxiliary. Mrs. Langlois was a lifelong supporter of Freepo rt Catholic Schools.     Katherine Mary Schuh Evans, 90, died February 12, 2012, at Peabody Manor in Appleton. Katherine was born in Appleton on April 14th, 1921, the daughter of the late Therese and Matt Schuh. She attended Rosary College in River Forest, Illinois, graduating in 1943 with a Bachelors degree in Library Science.Katherine then worked as a librarian at the Great Lakes Naval Base in Waukegan, Illinois, where she met her husband, Jim Evans, who was a stationed there with the Navy. They were married on July 13, 1946, and moved to Appleton.Katherine raised five children and volunteered at St. Marys grade school, where she also ran the school library. A devoted wife and mother, she loved books, needlepoint and knitting, and was an avid bridge player. She also was a longtime member of the Laetare Book Club.She leaves her children, Steve (Mary) Evans, John (Mary) Evans, Ellen (David) Rogers, Martha (Austin) Boyle, and Jim (Mary) Evans; nine grandchildren: Matt (Wendy), Patrick, and Alex Evans, Aaron (Tana), Justin (Jessica), and Brea Evans, Katherine Boyle, and Laura and Elizabeth Eichsteadt; and six great grandchildren: Evie, Marina and Ellie Evans, Mason and Hudson Evans, and Jack Evans.Katherine was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James Lloyd Evans; her sisters: Jeanette Schuh Langlois and Virginia Schuh Grasse; her brother, William Schuh; and her grandson, Daniel Evans.A family service was held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Appleton on Wednesday, February 15th.

    William "Bill" J. Schuh, age 62, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center- Appleton. He was born to the late William and Margaret (Haug) Schuh on January 9, 1955. Bill graduated from Appleton West High School and St. Thomas University. On January 8, 2000, Bill married Marsha Tonn. He worked at Kohl's, the Post Crescent, and most recently he was self-employed.
    Bill enjoyed fishing, boating, and golfing. He was always up for a good time. Bill was a member of the Appleton Yacht Club for many years.
    Bill is survived by his wife of 17 years, Marsha; his son John (special friend Brittney) Schuh; his brother Mathew (Melanie) Schuh; his sisters: Betsy (Wally) Szadzinski, Theresa (Mark) Rechner and Peggy (Larry) Jachec; nephews: Ted, Bill, Tony, Conrad and Adam; nieces: Bess (Josh), Maggie (Kevin) and Kate (Derek); his dog Sparky; and many other relatives and friends.
    A memorial service for Bill will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held at the funeral chapel from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
