    HILDEBRANDT FUNERAL
    Kankauna - The funeral of Adolph Hildebrandt was held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church with the Rev. Paul
    T. Oehlert in charge. Interment was in the Lutheran cemetery on the Green Bay-rd. Mr. Hildebrandt died after an illness of four years.

    Sasnowski, Mrs. August (Angie) - nee Irma Hildebrandt
    On May 14, 2006, the Lord sent his holy angels to take Irma Sasnowski to her home in heaven at the age of 94. She was born in Kaukauna August 23, 1911, to the late Adolph and Alma (Nicholas) Hildebrandt. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Ev Lutheran Church where she was baptized, confirmed and married. She devoted herself to the many activities of the Women's Aide Society and served as its secretary and treasurer. She was a charter member of Altar Guild and served as its first chairman. She volunteered countless hours of faithful service to her Lord. Her marriage to August (Augie) Sasnowski took place in 1938. He preceded her in death in 1987 after 48 years of marriage.
    Irma is survived by her brother, Melvin (Huck) Hildebrandt, Evansville, Indiana; three sisters: Evelyn Taylor, Grace Steinway, Kaukauna; Lucille Licht, Cedarburg; as well as numerous special nieces and nephews, many friends, and neighbors.
    She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Augie, her parents, brothers-in-law, Harold (Rick) Steinway and Oliver (Curly) Taylor and Jack Licht, sister-in-law, Adeline (Susie) Hildebrandt and a grand niece, Emily Mau.
    Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Ev Lutheran Church, Kaukauna with Rev. Mark Luetzow and Rev. Karl Schultz co-officiating. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been establish. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family. 766-2099.

    Irma married Sasnowski, August Abt 1938. August (son of Sasnowski, Herman J. and Wendland, Bertha S.) was born 14 Jan 1906, Kaukauna, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; died 28 Mar 1987; was buried 31 Mar 1987, Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Appleton, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]

    Melvin Hildebrandt, age 93, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2007, in Evansville, IN, where he resided since 1945. He was born to Adolph and Alma Hildebrandt on April 24, 1913, in Kaukauna, where was he Baptized and Confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church. He also attended Kaukauna High School. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of World War II serving in Pacific Theatre. After his medical discharge in 1944, he spent most of his lifelong career in sales in Evansville, where he was married to Adeline Wurdinger.
    He is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Curly (Evelyn) Taylor, Mrs. Jack (Lucille) Licht, and Mrs. Rick (Grace) Steinway; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a sister, Mrs. August (Irma) Sasnowski.
    A service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Kaukauna, Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 10:30 a.m.

    Evelyn E. Taylor (Mrs. Oliver "Curly" Taylor), 96, Kaukauna, died peacefully Thursday, July 21, 2011, at her home. She was born in Kaukauna on May 8, 1915, to the late Adolph and Alma (Nicholas) Hildebrandt. Ev was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, a 1933 graduate of Kaukauna High School and AARP member. She was employed at Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company and Kaukauna Floral, where Ev loved working with flowers.
    Evelyn is survived by her sisters, Grace Steinway, Kaukauna; and Lucille Licht, Cedarburg; nieces and nephews, Sherry (Bob) Arendt, Cindy (Ron) Dercks, Jacqueline Lewaren, Jennifer (Bob) Callies, John Jr. (Kathy) Licht and James Licht; great nieces and nephews, Shawn (Stephanie) and Andrew (Tammy) Michalkiewicz, Corey, Katie, Kristi, Chad (Hailey) and Kelly Dercks, Tim Lewaren, Jack, Jenna, Justin and Jon Licht; and special neighbors, Mary and Roger "Pete" Vanevenhoven. She was Godmother to Sherry Arendt, Andrew Michalkiewicz and Tim Lewaren. Evelyn is further survived by Curly's relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 32 years, Curly, on Nov. 15, 1985; sister, Irma (Augie) Sasnowski ; brother, Melvin "Huck" (Suzie) Hildebrandt; brothers-in-law, Rick Steinway and Jack Licht; lifelong twin friend, Elaine Benz; and sister-friend, Margie Gustman.
    Visitation will be held at TRINITY EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH (804 Grignon St. Kaukauna) on Monday, July 25, 2011, beginning at 9 a.m. until time of funeral at 11 a.m. Pastors Karl Schultz and Timothy Wilkens will officiate.
