Obituary:
Robert G Bolwerk, age 78, of Kimberly, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Century Oaks in Appleton. He was born to the late George and Marie (Van Cuyk) Bolwerk on June 7, 1938. He married Helen Vande Hey on May 5, 1959.
Robert was a handyman and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, building model trains, and flying radio controlled aircraft. Robert's humor was quick witted and he always put a smile on everyone's face. He had a very positive outlook and made sure others saw positivity in any situation.
Robert is survived by his children:, Terri Burton, Jane (Bruce) Bleier, Al (Chris) Bolwerk; his grandchildren: Kari (Ryan) Jacobson, Jay Bogard, Jonathan (Katie) Bleier, and Stephanie (Sean) Breitzman; his great grandchildren: Henry and Eleanor Bleier and Oliver and Clara Breitzman; his brothers: John (Bev) Bolwerk, Henry (Mary) Bolwerk, and George (Barb) Bolwerk; a sister Adriana Evers; brother-in-law: John "Jack" (Marian) Vande Hey; sisters-in-law: Carol Boots, Barbara Vande Hey, and Sally Bolwerk; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen; his brother William Bolwerk; a sister Gertrude (Vince) Gloudemans; sister-in-law Flo Bolwerk; and brothers-in-law: Bob Boots and Hank Evers.
A funeral service for Robert will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
