Wink, Roy H.
With a strong love for his family and a deep passion for agriculture, Roy H. Wink, age 89, born September 3, 1917, son of the late Emil and Ida (Franzke) Wink, left this world to celebrate with the Lord all his blessings shared on earth. A farmer born and raised, Roy and his wife of 64 years, the former Dorothy (Schubring) wed on January 2, 1942, lived and worked together on the Wink Homestead until his passing on Tuesday November 21, 2006.
Roy will be remembered most as a soft-spoken, hard working man that instilled the love of the Lord, family and the land in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Roy is a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction and served on various committees, the Loyal Gleaners Sunday School Class, was a leader of Forest Ever-Ready 4-H Club, selected as the 1984 Calumet County Farmer of the Year, served on the Calumet County Farm Bureau board of directors, and was a dealer for 25 years with Dekalb & Dairyland Seeds. Roy enjoyed being a life long exhibitor at the Calumet County Fair.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, his loving daughters; Bonnie (Fred) Bungert, Hortonville; Donna (Dennis) Winkler, Wisconsin Dells; Connie (Al) Ott, Forest Junction; Faye (Steve) Klessig, Brillion. His cherished grandchildren: Stacy (Rob) Van Domelen, Kimberlee (Jon) Schoonmaker, Chad (friend Julie) Bungert, Maureen (Rodney) Liebzeit, Matthew Winkler, Kristin (Randy) Breckheimer, Courtney (Chris) Booth, Lucas (Carisa) Ott, Callie and Brittney Ott, Katie, Troy, Blake and Hope Klessig; great-grandchildren; Kessler Van Domelen, Jenna and Amanda Schoonmaker, Joshua M. and Skylar Liebzeit, Madeline Winkler, Olivia, Trent, Alex and Jade Breckheimer, Cole, Ava and Campbell Booth, Natalie and Mallory Ott; two step great-grandchildren: Joshua and Emily Liebzeit. He is further survived by his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law; Freida Schubring, Betty (Oscar) Rosin, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death was his special grandson Wade C. Winkler, sister and brother-in-law; Hattie and Aberhardt Zirbel, brother-in-law, Lawrence Schubring, sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Flora and Wilmer Persohn.
A celebration of his life will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday November 25, 2006, at Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction with Pastor Becky Kindschi officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. The Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion assisted the family with arrangements.

Donna M. (Wink) Winkler, Chilton
Donna loved this earth but rejoiced to be with Jesus. Her battle with cancer ended on Saturday, October 26, 2013 with her husband Dennis and family at her side. She was born on August 12, 1948, the daughter of Roy and Dorothy (Schubring) Wink. On November 4, 1967 she was united in marriage to Dennis Winkler at Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction, where Donna was confirmed and accepted Jesus as her savior. Donna and Dennis lived their lives working together at Double D Service, D's Diner, and D's of Hilbert.
Donna is survived by her mother, Dorothy (Schubring) Wink; her husband Dennis; her children: Maureen (Rodney) Liebzeit, Matthew Winkler, Wade Winkler (deceased) and Kristin (Randy) Breckheimer, all of whom made for a great family. Nine grandchildren followed, being welcomed into the family: Joshua Matthew (Jenn) Liebzeit, Skylar Wade Liebzeit, Emily Quinn (Robbie) Kumbier, Joshua Micah Liebzeit, Madeline Lee Winkler and Olivia Kristin, Trent Dezel, Alex Maximus, and Jade Cadillac Breckheimer. She is further survived by three sisters: Bonnie (Fred) Bungert, Connie (Al) Ott, and Faye (Steve) Klessig; her in-laws: Mary (Lambert) Gietman, Tom Winkler, Randy (Ellen) Winkler, Reeve Winkler, Nancy & Carlton Haese, and Darlene Reinke; several nieces and nephews; her Godchildren: Callie Ott, Trisha Affleck, and Blake Klessig. A special thanks to a good friend Nancy Wesener. Preceding her in death and waiting at the gates of heaven are her dad, Roy H. Wink and standing tall, her son Wade Christopher Winkler, and her in-laws: Reeve S. & Florence A. (Hahn) Winkler, and Robert L. Reinke.
Memorial services for Donna will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, 44 West Washington St. in Chilton with Pastor Mike Kennedy officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
The Winkler family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff on the 7th floor of AMC, the staff at Cherry Meadow Hospice, and to Dr. Bar-Lev.
