    Bea "Bernice" I. Hardy Bea "Bernice" I. Hardy, age 87, of 127 Milwaukee St., Cascade, WI, passed away early Saturday morning (Feb. 26) at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. She was born on May 16, 1917 in Symco, Wis., a daughter of the late Willard and Lena Starcheska Baldwin. She attended Symco Grade School and graduated from Manawa High School in 1933. On August 6, 1936, she married William J. Hardy in Wrightstown, Wis. The couple lived in the Milwaukee area after their marriage. She was employed at St. Francis Savings and Loan in Milwaukee for several years and then was the Personal Secretary for Sydney Kohl for many years before becoming office manager for the Kliebhan Insurance Company in Milwaukee for many years and then worked at Rural Insurance in Plymouth for five years. She had served as president of the Hospital Auxillary in Plymouth. Bernice enjoyed gardening, knitting and bird watching and always had an interest in people. Survivors Include her four children: Alice Maney of West Bend, Wis.; Nancy Pelton of Eugene, Ore.; Carole Schultz of Cascade; A.J. (Margaret) Hardy of San Diego, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Allen (Ruth) Baldwin of Symco, Wis. and Jerry Baldwin of New London, Wis.; one Sister: Jean (Bill) Levezou of Manawa, Wis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Janet Habrat, and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Following Bernice's wishes, there will be NO VISITATION OR VIEWING. A memorial service will be held at a later time in Symco, Wisconsin. Interment will be in the Symco Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established in her name for the Visiting Nurses Hospice Program. The Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Service is serving the family. The Sheboygan Press February 28, 2005
