    Obituary:
Harry E. Langman Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, died surrounded by his loving family on June 9, 2006, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. A lifelong resident of Appleton, Harry was born on Feb. 15, 1931, to the late Harry A. and Mary (Mitchler) Langman. He was a proud member of the Appleton High School Class of 1949. He enlisted in the USAF after graduation and served his country during the Korean Conflict and later in the Air Force Reserve. He was awarded the Air Medal for B-29 action over Korea. Harry married Patricia Hill on Oct. 15, 1954; they celebrated their golden anniversary together in 2004. She survives. Upon his return from Korea, Harry attended the University of Wisconsin Fox Valley and began his career at Appleton Papers, retiring as Corporate Transportation Manager in 1989. He was a graduate of the Chicago College of Advanced Traffic, and received additional certifications in transportation management and export trade from the University of Wisconsin School of Business in Madison and the World Trade Association in New York. He was a co-founder and Past President of the Northeast Wisconsin World Trade Association and the Retired Transportation Society. He was actively involved in a number of transportation-related organizations including the Wisconsin Manufacturers Traffic Committee and the Eastern Paper Traffic Conference; and had served as Chairman of the traffic committees of the Wisconsin Paper Group and Wisconsin Paper and Pulp Manufacturers. He was also a Past President of both the Fox River Valley Traffic Club and the Green Bay Chapter of Delta Nu Alpha fraternity. Harry was an avid golfer and past member of Ridgeway Country Club, Reid's Men's Club, and Eagle Links Old Fogey's Club. He belonged to the American Cribbage Congress, participating in many of their sanctioned competitions while traveling throughout the country with Pat. He attained the rank of Grand Master and qualified and participated 10 times in the A.C.C.'s annual Tournament of Champions in Reno, Nevada. He was a charter member of the A.C.C.'s Grass Roots Club 90 in Appleton where he leaves many cherished friends. Harry and his Golden Retriever Barney competed and placed in many regional and state obedience trials. Both Harry and Pat participated in the Dog Companion Program at Sanger Powers Correctional Facility, working with inmates to train companion dogs for the disabled. He and Pat also indulged both their love of reading and of children by participating for the last 8 years in the Appleton Public Schools' "United for Reading Success" program at Highlands and Edna Ferber Grade Schools. He treasured the time he had with the first-graders he tutored over the years. He was greatly saddened when his illness forced him to curtail his participation in this program earlier this year. He enjoyed volunteering his time over the years and will especially miss those friends he met while delivering Meals on Wheels. Harry adored his family.
His wife, Pat, was his beloved life's companion. Together they raised four daughters, Barbara Langman and Nancy (Craig) Hollis, Appleton; Jill (Mark) Schwarz, Thornton, Colorado; and the late Kay (Dan) Pollock, Lexington, Kentucky. Harry was a patient, gentle, tolerant father; he gave his daughters the freedom to find their own paths, yet never failed to be there for them when they needed him. They are eternally grateful. Harry was particularly fortunate in his sons-in-law, Dan, Craig and Mark, their relationships were remarkable. He took a lot of good-natured ribbing from the three of them regarding his often-disastrous attempts at home repair, but he could give as good as he got: he relished beating them in cut-throat cribbage, poker and gin games. His grandchildren, David Schwarz, Katie and Jim Pollock, and John Hollis, were his pride and joy. They will miss him greatly and cherish the many memories they have of their loving and playful Grandpa. He helped instill in them the values of kindness, tolerance and integrity. He watched with pride as they grew to become accomplished and considerate young adults. Obituary:
John (Jack) Mitchler passed away peacefully at home, the evening of April 4, 2014, surrounded by his loving family, after a short but valiant fight against cancer.
He was born on Oct. 21, 1937, the 5th of 12 children for Olga (Jesse) and John Mitchler in Kimberly, Wisconsin. He grew up in a lively household of 14, enjoying the life skills that come with sharing and compromising when there are so many siblings. He met Rosemary Vander Loop in high school and later married her in a lovely wedding right before leaving for Germany to serve in the U.S. Army in 1957. His two years in the service proved to leave a life long impression on Jack as he continued to consider his fellow service men some of his best life long friends. He returned home to start a 34 year long career in the paper mill industry for Consolidated Papers, Inc. Starting out as a mill wright in Appleton and working his way up to the position of Chief Maintenance Coordinator in Wisconsin Rapids. In those early years, he and Rosemary had 3 children. He was a fantastic father and eventually grandfather. He was always available to help out where he could, give a big hug or words of encouragement and beam with pride. He could be found shouting from bleachers for decades cheering on his family and friends. He also started volunteering tirelessly for his local church and became part of the Knights of Columbus. He will be remembered by many for his generous nature, giving his time and energy to those in need.
He made it a goal to retire early and was able to move to Minocqua, WI in 1994, where he could pursue his passions for hunting and fishing out his back door and traveling with his best-friend Rosemary. He continued to volunteer at church and in the community, always bringing a smile to those he knew and offering end of life help to those who needed a hand.
He will be dearly remembered for all the love that he shared his funny sayings when we came in the door and for reminding us when "the bus is leaving".
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Rosemary; and his children, Jeffrey (Sandi) Mitchler of Kimberly, WI; Susan (Andy) Teichmiller of Arbor Vitae, WI; and Cathy (Dan) Hein of Appleton, WI; his grandchildren, Tara Mitchler of Menasha WI; Tamara Zwiers of Appleton, WI; Jacob Mitchler of Kimberly, WI; Leah (Jeff) Houghton of Glendale, WI; Lexie Hein of Appleton, WI; Celesté Teichmiller and Alysse Teichmiller of Arbor Vitae, WI; his great-grandchildren, Alyza Mitchler, Phoenix Zwiers, Maylahni Zwiers, and Jaden Revoir; his siblings, Mildred Francek of Neenah, WI; Dorothy Micheln of Oshkosh, WI; Delores Fisher of Kimberly, WI; Sharalene (Roger) Rainville of Kimberly, WI; Daniel (Joanne) Mitchler of Kimberly, WI; Jesse Jarat of Appleton, WI; Marilyn (Jerry) Vander Pas of Combined Locks, WI; and Barbara Jo Mitchler of Appleton, WI,
He has been preceded in death by his parents, Olga and John, his siblings, Carmen Mitchler, Carmel Leavitt, and Gladys Zielinski and by his father and mother-in-law, John and Irene Vander Loop.
John was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff and there will be a visitation at 10 a.m. and a Mass of resurrection and a celebration of life on April 14th at 11 a.m.
Memorial donations can be made to Saint Judes Children's Hospital or the Michael J Fox Parkinson's Foundation for Parkinson's research.

    Obituary:
Audrey M. Noie, age 95, of Appleton, passed away with family at her side on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. She was born on July 24, 1922 in Kaukauna, Wisconsin to the late Frank and Ella (Smith) Mitchler, one of four children.
On December 22, 1942 Audrey married George B. Noie in Blackstone, Virginia before his deployment in the U.S Army during World War II. Together they were blessed with four children; Sheri, Cindy, Jeff and George Jr.
In the early years Audrey was an active Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, golfed nearly every week and the family will always treasure those vacations spent at the trailer at Evergreen Campsites at Lake Kussel.
Audrey and George were a perfect match, they were both avid Packer fans and had season tickets; never missing a game. For those away games watched in the comfort of their own home, not a word was to be spoken so that they could watch the game undisturbed. Most recently for her 92nd birthday Audrey's family had taken her to the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame Museum. She played "tour guide" and was able recall any and all names, games, or items on display.
They enjoyed many wonderful years of retirement together. They embarked on their creative-side and sold many of their wooden crafts at local art fairs. For fourteen years they annually spent their winters in Arizona enjoying the much warmer weather and golfing.
Audrey is survived by her four loving children, Sheri (Cliff) Doering, Cindy (Tom) Steffl, Jeff (Barbara) Noie and George Noie, Jr.; her grandchildren, Brian (Susan) Helf, Aericka Helf, Chris (Tanya) Steffl, Phil (Ali) Noie, Kim (Brock) Noie, Jordan Noie and Jason Noie and her great-grandchildren, Joseph Helf, Alyssa Noie, Carson Adrian, Ashton Steffl and Piper Steffl. Audrey is further survived by her sister, Jeanne Lemberg and her brother, Dale Mitchler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George, on March 11, 2012; her brother, Bill Mitchler and her two dear godchildren, David and Lisa Lemberg. Audrey was recently preceded in death by her childhood friend, Beata Huss. Within the past two years they shared their 75th High School Class Reunion. Beata passed this October 9, 2017.
The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at ST. JOSPEH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 W. Lawrence Street in Appleton, with Fr. Jim Leary, OFM. CAP officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the services. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Appleton. A memorial fund has been established in Audrey's name. Online condolences can be shared at: www.wichmannfargo.com.
Audrey's family would like to extend their many thanks to Dr. David Shinkunas, the staff of Renaissance Assisted Living and AseraCare Hospice for the compassionate care shown to Audrey and her family.
Mom, you have been such an inspiration to all of us; teaching us to live a full life! We will always remember your sense of humor and we know you are looking forward to being with your true love again.
