    Lange, Anna G. Appleton
    Town of FreedomAge 87, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at her home. Anna was born in Little C hute, March 1, 1915; daughter of Antone and Elizabeth (Van Roy) Boots. S he married Martin Lange, June 18, 1940 at St. John Catholic Church, Litt le Chute and he preceded her in death February 14, 1979. Anna helped run t he family farm and enjoyed gardening. She also enjoyed spending time wi th her family, especially her grandchildren. Anna was a lifetime memb er of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom.Anna is survived by her children: Thomas (Barbara) Lange, Appleton; John ( Sue) Hricik, Johnson City, New York; Gerald (Delores) Lange, Appleton; Mar tin “Herb” Lange, Town of Freedom; Laura LeMere, New Britton, Connecticu t; five grandchildren: Christopher Lange and fiancee Tanya, Terri Ann Lang e, Kelly and Kevin LeMere, Sara Hricik; a great-grandchild, Brady; a broth er and a sister: Frank “Amos” Boots; Theresa (Gordon) Schreurs; and a son- in-law, Ron LeMere. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; three broth ers: Jim Boots, George “Red” (Marion) Boots, Henry (Elizabeth “Betty”) Boo ts; and a sister, Catherine “Kate” (Robert) Martzahl.Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2002 at St. Nicho las Catholic Church, Freedom with Rev. Dennis Ryan officiating. Interme nt will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute.     Lange, Thomas H.
    Age 70, of Appleton, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Fox River Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a short illness. Tom was born in Green Bay on March 2, 1943 to the late Martin and Anna (Boots) Lange Sr. Tom graduated at Freedom High School with the class of 1962. On December 5, 1970, he was united in marriage to Barb Ayers at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom. The couple has enjoyed over 43 years together. Tom and Barb loved their annual trips to Hawaii for 32 years. They also volunteered for the Fox Cities Marathon. He was also an avid Packer fan. Tom was a member at St. Bernard Catholic Church where he was an usher.
    He is survived by his wife Barb, Appleton; 2 brothers: Gerald (Delores) Lange, Appleton and Martin "Herb" Lange, Town of Freedom; 2 sisters: Sue (John) Hricik, Johnson City, NY and Laura (special friend Bob) LeMere, New Britain, CT. He is further survived by nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, and his mother- and father-in-law Verda and Jack Ayers.
    A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 am Thursday, January 23, 2014 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1617 W. Pine St. Appleton, with Father Dennis Ryan officiating. Friends may visit directly at the church on Thursday from 9 am until the time of service. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. A memorial fund has been established.
    The family would like to extent a special thank you to the staff in the ICU at St. Elizabeth Hospital - especially Diane, Jackie from Right at Home in Kimberly, and their special neighbors Patrick and Sarah for their kindness, care, and compassion.
