    Obituary:
    Sister Mary Henry Brooks, 82, Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. She was born on Sept. 22, 1926, in Forest Junction, Wis., daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Brochtrup) Brooks. She entered the convent in 1953 and professed her vows in 1955. Sister Mary Henry served as a Homemaker at Holy Family Convent and St. Francis Convent, Manitowoc; St. Philip and St. Joseph, Green Bay; Sacred Heart Center, Oneida; Ozanam Home, New Berlin; San Damiano, Slinger; Catholic Memorial Convent, Waukesha; St. Willibrod, Chicago, Ill.; St. Francis, Petosky, Mich.; St. Nicholas, Zanesville, Ohio; and St. Mary, West Point, Neb. She also served as a Sponsor Representative at St. Paul Manor, Kaukauna.
    After retiring from active ministry, she performed various tasks at the Motherhouse. Since 2008, she had been residing in St. Rita Health Center at the Motherhouse.
    Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Rev. Charles Brooks, Appleton; Adrian Brooks and Henry Brooks, both of Greenleaf; Franklin Brooks and Roger and Alice Brooks, all of Kaukauna; and Judie Brooks, Combined Locks; three sisters and four brothers-in-law, Fred and Rose Ann Ponschock, Appleton; Jacob and Janet Huber, Kewaunee; Marvin and Betty Rademacher, Wrightstown; and John Kemkee, Darboy. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive.
    Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at Holy Family Convent Chapel. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Charles Brooks as celebrant and the Rev. Samuel D. Jadin, O. Praem., as concelebrant with burial to follow at Holy Family Convent Cemetery, Manitowoc.
    Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening, Sept. 23, 2009, at Holy Family Convent Chapel, Manitowoc, where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
