    Williamsen, Arnold S.Arnold S. Williamsen, 91, De Pere, passed away Sat., Oct. 26, 2002 at a lo cal nursing home surrounded by his family. The son of the late John and Ca roline (Weyenberg) Williamsen was born May 18, 1911 in Freedom. He and t he former Mildred Kaye were married for 65 years until her death in 1997.Arnie's family came first. He lovingly cared for his wife for many yea rs as she suffered with a debilitating illness. Arnie served St. Francis P arish as a trustee, usher, and as a Distributor of the Eucharist. He w as a former president of the De Pere Deanery of the Holy Name Societ y. He loved De Pere and was employed at Smits Clothes for almost 50 year s, where he took great pride in helping young and old men alike find ju st the right pants or suit. He was a former member of the Knights of Colum bus, the De Pere Kiwanis Club, and a charter member of the De Pere Optimi st Club.Survivors include his children, Kay (Vern) Bougie and Sue Williamsen, De P ere; Jack (Shirley) Williamsen, Green Bay; and Jeff (Kathy) Williamsen, La ke Villa, Ill.; 14 grandchildren, Ginny (Kelly) Gigot, Jane (Paul) Schuell er, Mark (Heather) Bougie, Steve (Maria) Bougie, Joe (Kara) Bougie, Eric ( Claudia) Williamsen, Ann Williamsen, Nancy (Shawn) Quinn, Elizabeth (Richa rd) Beno, Jeff (Becky) Williamsen, Jennifer Williamsen, Scott (Tynna) Will iamsen, Todd Williamsen and Lea (Alan) Drury; 15 great-grandchildren; a si ster-in-law, Gen Williamsen, and brother-in-law, Kenneth (Mary) Kaye; a nd many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his wife, Milly; their son, Jim; five sister s, Mary (Eli) Rose, Nell (Pete) Driessen, Angie (Tony) Gillen, Min (Joe) D eGroot, Johanna (Killian) Heim; two brothers, Bert and Steve; and other sp ecial relatives and friends.Friends and family may call Monday, Oct. 28, 2002 (Today) from 4 to 8 p. m. at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, where there wi ll be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tue sday, Oct. 29, 2002 from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of Mass directly at S t. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere. Mass of C hristian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at church with t he Rev. V. Anthony Dolski officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cem etery, De Pere.
