    Obituary:
    Clifford A. Jansen, Kimberly, age 76, entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 21, 2008, at Parkside Care Center. Cliff was born in Little Chute on September 20, 1932, to the late Nicholas and Clara (Ebben) Jansen. On September 3, 1955, he married Marian Jarosz at St. Edward's Parish, Racine. Clifford proudly served his country in the Navy and was a member of the William Verhagen American Legion Post 60. He was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4489, a past state deputy and former master. Cliff served for 22 years on the Board of Directors for Capital Credit Union. He was a member of the Heart of the Valley Senior Service Club and active with the AFS (Foreign Exchange Student Program). Cliff was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church where he sang with the Good News Choir. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and working in his wood shop at home. He enjoyed golfing, baking and was particularly known for his famous carrot cake. Cliff and Marian also spent their free time traveling, playing cards, and dancing - especially the jitterbug.
    Cliff is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marian; four children: Cheryl (Rick) Hermus, Kimberly; Lynn Schuh, Blaine, MN; Jeff (Cindy) Jansen, Seymour; and Kurt (Liz) Jansen, Voorhees, NJ; six grandchildren: Melissa (Sal) Impellitteri, Meghan, Renae and Blake Jansen, Kacie Hermus and Elise Jansen; and a sister-in-law: Grace Hartjes. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
    In addition to his parents, Cliff was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law: Robert and Virginia Jansen; and his sister and brother-in-law, Florence & Jim Hartjes.
    Visitation will be held Thursday, September 25, 2008, at 1 p.m. until the time of Mass at 5 p.m. at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute). The Rev. James Hablewitz will officiate. Military rites performed by the William Verhagen American Legion Post 60 will immediately follow. Committal St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
    The Jansen family would like to extend their gratitude to the caregivers at Parkside Care Center and Dr. Monk Elmer and his staff for the care given to Cliff.
