Obituary:
Mary M. Boucher, 103, Green Bay, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016. She was born on November 12, 1912, in Green Bay to Matthew M. and Frances (VanLanen) Demuth.
Mary was a graduate of Green Bay West High School in 1931, and did office work until she married Walter "Wally" Boucher on May 14, 1938. They raised two children: her daughter, Patricia A. (James) Derks; and a son, David Lee (Jane) Boucher. Mary enjoyed housework, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and reading. She also enjoyed playing bridge with members of her card club. After Walter's death on February 23, 1974, Mary did volunteer work for 25 years working in the pastoral care office and gift shop at St. Mary's Hospital.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia A. (James) Derks, Ashwaubenon; son and daughter-in-law, David Lee (Jane) Boucher, Cazenovia, NY; grandchildren: Catherine Derks, Ashwaubenon; Amy (John) Reiland, Slinger, WI; Brian Derks, Endeavor, WI; Jessica Boucher, Brooklyn, NY; John G. (Katie) Boucher, Beverly, MA; great-grandchildren, Cecilia and Albert Boucher; sisters-in-law, Lavern Boucher and Doris Boucher; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; her parents; a sister, Clare Slye; and three brothers, Bernard, Henry and Joseph.
Friends may call at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida St., from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. John H.
