    Vande Yacht, Maryann E. Kaukauna, Age 83, passed away at her home following a 25 year journey of various cancers on Friday, November 21, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born on May 4, 1931 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Walter and Esther (Fox) Summers and resided in Askeaton, WI. She attended grade school at St. Patrick's in Askeaton, and high school in Oshkosh and Kaukauna from which she graduated in 1949. On April 4, 1951 she was united in marriage to Roy A. Vande Yacht and they moved to Hollandtown where they resided for 29 years. In 1980, they moved to Kaukauna. Maryann worked for the former Appleton Papers, Kimberly Clark's Kimtech, and Lakeview Mills and retired from Lakeview on January 1, 1996.
    She is survived her her three daughters: Sharon Nisler, Lynn Vande Yacht, and Vicki Vande Yacht; two granddaughters: Sara (Dan) Miller and Amie Nisler; her sisters: Dolores Besaw, Phyllis (Patrick) Stumph, Patricia Van Linn, Pauline (Maynard) Krueger, and Judith (Robert) Wurdinger; a sister-in-law, Yvonne Summers. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband Roy, her parents, her father and mother-in-law: Benedict and Henrietta Vande Yacht, a brother Thomas Summers, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Robert Besaw, Joseph Van Linn, Hugo and Grace Vande Yacht, Lillian and Ralph Lauer, and Clifford Vandeyacht.
    The Mass of Christian Burial for Maryann will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH @ ST. ALOYSIUS CHURCH, 2401 Main Avenue, Kaukauna. Fr. Jerry Pastors and Fr. Walter Stumph will concelebrate the mass. Burial will be in St. Mary's parish cemetery. Friends will be received directly at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the mass. Memorials may be donated in Maryann's name to benefit local charities or the charities of the donor's choice.
    The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kevin Mortara for his kind and compassionate care of Maryann and especially to Dr. Sonya Eiben for her many years of special care.
