    Marcella Schuh, 95, New London, died on Friday, April 4, 2008, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on Feb. 23, 1913, in the Town of Greenville, daughter of the late Joseph & Emily (Bolte) Merkel. On Nov. 3, 1933, she married Leon Schuh in Appleton. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1993. Marcella lived in New London most of her life and was recently a resident of St. Joseph's in New London. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Readfield.
    She is survived by two daughters, Audrey (Al) Metko, Appleton; and Marilyn (Curt) Sommer, New London; two sons, Jerome (Joann) Schuh, Appleton; and Roger (Joyce) Schuh, Readfield; two sons-in-law, Wilmar Kalbus, Readfield; and Edward Worm, New London; 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eleanor Buss, Appleton; Lucille Schroeder, Kaukauna; and Evelyn Muenster, Seymour; a sister-in-law, Eleanor Cooney, New London. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
    She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Schuh; daughters, Phyllis Kalbus; Karen Worm; and an infant daughter, Mary Theresa; one son, Lloyd Schuh; nine brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.
    The funeral service for Marcella will be held on Monday, April 7, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Readfield with Rev. Robert Diener officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

    Obituary:
    Evelyn J. Muenster, 87, Seymour, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on Aug. 17, 1921, to the late Joe and Emilie (Bolte) Merkel. Daughter of a cheesemaker, she married the late Elmo Muenster in June of 1946 and moved to the farm on County C. She worked for Holidays in Seymour for several years and Seymour Canning for a couple of summers.
    In 1990, Evelyn and Elmo retired from farming and moved to Appleton, allowing them to do a little traveling. After Elmo's passing, Evelyn moved to Black Creek and later to Meadow Wood in Seymour. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and a good game of Sheepshead. Evelyn was also a member of Freedom Moravian Church and the Friendly Services Circle of the Church.
    Survivors include a son, James (Ginger) Muenster; two sisters, a bother-in-law and a sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
    Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo; one sister, three brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, from 6 p.m. until services at 8 p.m. with the Reverend Jason Andersen officiating and entombment at Highland Memorial Park.
    A memorial fund has been established.

    Audrey E. Metko, 77, of Appleton passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at her home after a long battle with cancer. Audrey was born on February 17, 1937 to the late Leon and Marcella (Merkel) Schuh. She graduated from New London high school in 1955, and married Al Metko on April 18, 1959.
    Audrey was a telephone operator for 5 years, until their children came along. Later she worked for Ray O Vac for 10 years then retired. She loved to dance, cook, and gardening.
    Audrey is survived by her children; Maria Peterson, her children Mariah and Maverick, and her granddaughter Eden; Joseph (Cara) Metko, their children Joshua ( Katie), Stacey (Jason), Beran and their granddaughter Ava; Eugene ( Danita) Metko and his daughter Karissa and Danita's sons Matt and Nick; Vicki (Andy) Edlebeck and their children Jackson, Spencer, and Cody; Mark (Samantha) Metko and their children Muriel, Martin, Charlie, George, and Eden; and Andy (Stephanie) Metko. She is further survived by a sister Marilyn (Curt) Sommer, and brothers; Jerome (JoAnn) Schuh, Roger (Joyce) Schuh, and brother-in-law William Kalbus. Also by brothers and sisters-in law; Tom ( Germaine) Metko, Margaret (Walter) Mueller, Daniel Metko, Ralph (Patricia) Metko, Nancy (Richard) Eiebenholtz, Kathleen (Michael) White, William (Sandra) Metko, and Erbin (Ella) Metko, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son in infancy Mark, an infant sister Mary Theresa, sisters Phyllis Kalbus, Karen (Eddie) Worm, her brother Lloyd Schuh, father and mother-in-law Alfred and Margaret Metko, brother-in-law Jerry Metko, Sister-in-law Mary Jo Metko.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Bernard Catholic Church 1617 W. Pine St. Appleton with Fr. Dennis Ryan officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery Appleton. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday October 21, 2014 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at the CHURCH.
    In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul Hospice Service, Kaukauna.
    The family wishes to thank all the staff at St. Paul Hospice Service, and Dr. Goggins and his staff at St. Elizabeth Oncology Department for all their care, comfort and support.
