Hackbarth, Edgar D. "Ed"
Edgar D. Hackbarth, of Menasha, age 71, passed away on July 9, 2009. Ed was born August 14, 1937, son of the late Edgar Sr., and Ann (Nuss) Hackbarth. He enjoyed working kid's games at picnics, selling Christmas trees, spending time with his grandchildren and the competition of throwing darts.
Ed is survived by two sons; Daniel Hackbarth, Appleton; Steven (Lori) Hackbarth, Brillion; three sisters: Susan (Bill) Hansen, Yvonne Bonnell, and Ann (Ted) Dreger. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Jacob, Courtney, Tyler, Travis, and Troy Hackbarth, and a great-grandchild, Landon Hackbarth.
Ed was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, John Bonnell, and a niece Annie Hansen.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2009, at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
