Obituary:
Chilton, Wis. - Funeral services for John Rossmeier, 71 years old were conducted at 10 a. m. today a St John's church in St John, Calumet county. He was the son of John and Barbara Rossmeier, and was a member of the Holy Name society mad the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.Survivors are his widow; three children, Mrs. B. Schmidt of Hollandtown, Joseph and George Rossmeler of St. John, and three grandchildren.

Hilbert - John Rossmeier, 71, St. John, passed away May 14, at Muscatine, Ia. Funeral services were held at St. John Monday morning. The remains were brought here to the Eldridge Funeral Home Friday evening and then to the Rossmeier home at St. John.
Mr. Rossmeier, son the late John and Barbara Rossmeier, was born Feb. 22, 1865 in the town of Woodville, where he lived his entire life. He was married may 28, 1900 at St. John to Miss Anna Kloeppel. The couple spent their married life at their present farm home.
Survivors besides the widow are one daughter, Mrs. Bernard Schmidt, Dundas; two sons, Joe and George at home; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Knoeck and Mrs. Louis Knoeck, Marathon City; two brothers, Conrad and Joseph Rossmeier, Sherwood.
The two fraternal societies of which Mr. Rossmeier was a member, the Holy Name society and the Catholic Knights, Court NO. 148, St. John, attended the funeral in a body at the Catholic Church of St. John, Monday morning, Rev. Peter Salm officiated.
Interment was in St. John cemetery. Six nephews were pallbearers, Math Moehn, George Knoeck, Louis Gay, Peter Benzschawel, Mike Kloeppel and Victor Brantmeier.
