    Appleton Man Dies at 99
    One of the oldest men in Appleton, August J Fuhrman, 99, of 2136 W Wisconsin Ave., died Sunday. He was a native of Germany.
    He had farmed for 55 years 1-1/2 miles south of Kaukauna before retiring. Fuhrman was a member of Trinity Evangelical
    Lutheran Church, Kaukauna. Survivors are two sons, two daughters, four grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be from 3 p.m. today until funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Valley Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.

    TOWN OF KAUKAUNA MAN
    DIES IN MICHIGAN CITY
    Kaukauna - Albert Fuhrmann. 25,son of Mr. and Mrs. August Fuhrmann, town of Kaukauna, died at 5:30 Sunday morning in Detroit, Mich., from pneumonia. The body arrived at Kaukauna Monday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the young man's home and at about 2 o'clock fron Trinity Lutheran church, with the Rev. Paul Oehlert in charge. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
    Fuhrmann was born on Sept. 10, 1907, in the town of Rantoul, Calumet co. He left Kaukauna during the early part of October of last year and went to Detroit. Mich., where he was employed in the Buick manufacturing
    plant. He is survived by two sistors, Ella and Cora, and two brothers, John and Leo, all of this city.
